I recently purchased 6.5 AK in 1095 and let me tell you it’s a peirce of art. Razor sharp we’ll balanced and the weight is perfect. Thank you Architect Knives!

Great for batoning
Terrible chopper in my opinion-chopping small limbs is a no go unless they are less then a 3/4.
Stays sharp for a good amount of time while butchering deer. Butchered an entire deer with only honing the blade once near the end of it.
Did a little kitchen work with it. Cuts raw veggies okay. Handles tend to get loose if you do s lot of (heavy batoning along with heavy chopping) otherwise they stay on tight. All in all great knife. Im going to go a size down and get the 5. I love the leather sheath too.

Both are excellent. The 6.5 is the perfect one tool option: carving, batoning, slicing, piercing, fire making etc. I would definitely buy it agian! Many greetings from Germany!

I just recently bought the AK 6.5, and if I was left with only this tool I would feel pretty lucky, its big, and built stout, the edge is razor sharp, it is very ergonomic, and allows many various grips and modified uses, when a big knife is something you need, or just plain think is cool, this AK 6.5 is both excellent in use and cool factor off the charts.
I intend to get another one in a cpm or magnacut, and then really put em into the field to see if I can expand my skills with the big knife catagory. It’s also quite a conversation piece as your steak kjnife at a steak bbq, on a big thick rib steak.

It does everything that I need it to do perfectly. The handle is a good fit and I like the finger toil for fine work. The magnet cut steel is a perfect choice for this knife. I look forward to purchasing an AK 8.0. The problem is these knives are gone by the time I find out they’re available. I was lucky to get the AK 6.5.
