Purchased the AK3.5 with Magnacut. Blade came insanely sharp. Fit & finish is perfect. Only complaint is I wish the handle scale & liners had more options. Highly recommend buying one. Have also purchased a 5.5 in the past which was great as well.

If you have not got an Architect knife you are missing out!
These knives are well made and they are to me the best all around knives, for hunting, camping, Bushcraft, and surviving. They have the 3.0, 3.5,4.5,5.5,6.5,8.0 blades. You can get them 1095, CPM3, S35VN, and CPM Magnacut steel. When you put one in your hand you won’t want to let it go. It is a work horse! I own several of them I love them! And the great part is they are made right here in the USA. So what are you waiting for go get one now you won’t regret it. They have a lifetime warranty.

Absolutely love this in magnacut! Bought this for a smaller pack knife (along with my AK 6.5) fit/finish is great as usual and feels great in the hand. Everyone that has held/used it so far wants one now.

Will probably be buying another, maybe the 4.5 in the future.

This is the third Architect Knife. I was really impressed with the AK 4.5 and AK 5.5 that I decided to get the AK 3.5. Love the quality, build and ergonomics of this knife, excellent, especially for the price! Only gripe (as with the others) I wish the was the option for no jimping and a sharper spine. Sheath quality and build is also 100%.
Once again a very happy customer! Recommended.

When I started to put the handles on the knife, the bushings wouldn’t fit in the handle holes. Sent in a message to Architect on a weekend. The owner (boss) got in touch with me on the WEEKEND and came up with a solution. The handles and knife are just fine. My SECOND purchase of an Architect.

This is what I was going for. I’m enjoying my 1090 version now. I wish there were more 3v options right now, please take my money!

Architect 3.5 is an amazing little blade. Compact blade with a decent thinner behind the edge geometry, so it’s a good biter / slicer. The very ergonomic full size handle is the icing on the cake. Most compact fixed blades have thinner / smaller handles that fatigue the hand.

Super nice knife. The kydex sheath is awsome

    Absolutely fantastic blade and company!!

carrying a fixed blade isn’t always easy but with the esse slip or tek-lok options you can belt carry higher on your waist or if you want it ride lower you can get the leather loop.
The blade size is very capable for hard use task in a small form factor and is just a pleasure to use.
I’ve tried both g10 and micarta handles and you can’t go wrong with either one. I found the micarta slightly more grippy than the g10.

Absolutely love the architect 3.5. This knife is outdoors and EDC perfect. I hope someday you guys decide to make a thin/slicey edc wharncliffe! Would be amazing as there isn’t many out there. Also, preferably a hollow grind!

Very pleased with this knife. The edge is very sharp! The scales fit very well and feel great in the hand. The jimping is well done, not too sharp nor too dull and in the perfect spot on the spine for your thumb. The sheath is among the best kydex designs I have encountered. The retention screw is nice and holds the desired retention well. Highly recommend this knife. Thanks Architect!

3.5 is a bad ass working knife, it’s ample handle and blade geometry are all that is needed in most cases. Ergonomics are excellent for my uses, simple yet useful design, I chose both the kydex and dangler sheaths for various applications. The 3.5 is in my pocket or dangler for my EDC, all around use knife. It’s excellent for detail and fine work, and still allows a full size and firm grip handle. Options are many, why choose only one?

After a very short time with my new AK3.5 I’ve become an immediate fan of Architect Knives. The AK3.5 provides a comfortable and strong feel in the hand that screams quality from the second you hold it. Design is 5/5, the knife looks and feels amazing. Customizable purchasing experience is the best I’ve seen and assembling your knife once received provides a unique sense of making it your own. Keep up the good work AK, thanks for bringing an awesome product to market and providing a great experience for us customers!

I purchased an AK 3.5 to serve as an alternative to a folder knife and to serve as an outdoors and fire prep blade. I am impressed with the fit and finish of the blade and I have used it for carving and even some light food prep after two weeks owning the blade. The knife is hair popping sharp out of the packaging. My only critique is that I had to assemble the scales to the knife, and the packaging did not include a box, and only packaged in USPS bubble Packaging. I would also would prefer FedEx or UPS shipping option, even if I had to pay extra, as I prefer to these services as opposed to USPS.

I never got the knife. Where is it? I know customer service can contact USPS and find out where it is, why hasn’t that been done. Total failure on this purchase so far.

This is my second knife from ARCHITECT® – I’ve been using the AK 5.5 for a while now, so I already knew the quality to expect. The AK 3.5, built in MagnaCut, absolutely delivers. It’s compact, razor-sharp, perfectly balanced, and feels great in hand.

The customization options through Knife Builder make it truly personal, and the MagnaCut steel performs exceptionally well for both EDC and outdoor use.

Big shoutout to the ARCHITECT® team – professional, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to their craft.

    Highly recommended!

It is about the same size as an esee 3 but without the finger choil and better size handles. Magnacut is hands down harder and tougher than 1095. The tip is more reinforced than the esee. Steel is the same thickness as the esee.
